Children and Youth Christmas Special is tomorrow night, December 10th at 6:00pm – We will have a party afterwards…

We will continue our Dr. Dino series for the next couple of Wednesday nights. This has been very eye opening to us all. Please plan to attend. The video starts at 6:30pm.

Sunday, December 17 @ 6pm, we will view a teaching video called “The Christmas Experience” at 6pm.

We will hold our annual “New Years Eve” Celebration and family party on December 31 starting at 5:30pm. This is going to be so much fun you do not want to miss it.

Now on into January. On January 7th we will concentrate on getting as many to Sunday School as possible. Please encourage visitors to come join us. 2018 is the year that Ignite Bible Fellowship concentrates on building the Sunday School Program. This is where we disciple and fellowship. Be sure that 2018 is a year that you and your family make Sunday School a top priority.

On Saturday, January 13, from 7am to 1pm, we will do a local mission outreach to our community and serve them free meals. We need everyone to plan on being here to help. Lets not forget that Jesus has called us to reach this community with the Gospel and to love our neighbors as ourselves. 

We have some awesome opportunities to participate in as a Church and to love and encourage each other. Pray now that the Lord would guide you to be a part of it all. That is BEING the Church.

Praise the Lord for all His goodness. It’s going to be a great week and weekend as we come together to worship Jesus. There are so many things happening this time of year that we want to remind you to always get a bulletin on Sunday morning so you will be up to date on all the happenings at Ignite. Please look at these great opportunities that are offered to you and your family at Ignite during Christmas. This Christmas is ALL about Jesus and everyone can grow to love Him more.

THIS SUNDAY MORNING – November 12 – @ 11am – Veterans Day Service – Then at 12:30pm, please remember that for all the Veterans that signed up for the after service meal, stick around and enjoy some food and fellowship. 

November 12,  – “ALERT” – Please turn in all Christmas Shoe boxes by the 6:00 PM service this Sunday Night.

November 18 – Men and Women ministries will serve at the Southern Women’s Business show for their Christmas shop. This is a great outreach to be involved in and we need all of you to help.. Come tell someone about your Church. Women will wrap gifts from 9am to 2pm. Men will cook hotdogs and serve from 11am to 1pm. See Fran, Jana and Gary to help…

November 19 @ 11am – Special Thanksgiving Service

November 19 @ 5:30pm – Special Family Fun Night and ALSO we will Decorate the Church for Christmas

November 26 @ 6:00pm – A Testimony of Thankfulness Celebration with Communion

Ignite Bible Fellowship

Hello Ignite Church Family,

Here are a few announcements for upcoming events and happenings at Ignite Church.

Prayer… Please prayerfully consider donating to our Texas, Hurricane Relief Fund. Please mark all donation’s as Texas Hurricane Relief.

We are starting Wednesday Night Meals back on September 13th from 5:30pm to 6:15pm. No meals will be served after 6:15pm so our cooks and cleaners can get ready for their classes. Cost will be $4 per person and Children 3 and under will eat a Child’s plate for free.

New Fall Sunday Night Studies have arrived. Come out and see what Ignite has to offer for the Fall of 2017. We will have a Fall Kick Off on September 27th @ 6:30pm. Come hear all about the new studies.

We are so excited to announce that Dr. Larry Henderson will be here with us for our 2 year Celebration. Come join the fun and fellowship on September 24th @ 10am for a Special Sunday School, then at 11am for a Special Celebration followed by a delicious meal. There is no cost to you for this event. Praise the Lord… Also, NO PM that evening.

Please be in prayer about what the Lord would have you to give to Mission’s this upcoming year. You can’t out give God.

We love each and every one of you very much. Please be safe for Labor Day if you are traveling. Hope to see each of you this Sunday ready to Worship King Jesus.

Ignite Church

Hello Ignite Church. We are looking forward to a wonderful weekend. We have had a powerful week of VBS where we had at least 11 children to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Praise God. You, that’s right, you, by your faithful giving, support, service, and prayers, will one day receive a crown in Heaven for being a part of bringing these young one’s to Jesus. So we, the staff and workers of VBS, say a BIG thank you for serving Jesus by serving others. 

Now, on to the weekend…

Please remember that tomorrow, Saturday, July 22, 2017, we are having a church clean up and repair day. Please be at the Church at 8am. We need plumbers, electricians, cleaners, shelf assemblers, organizers, general maintenance, floors vacuumed, floors moped, bathrooms deep cleaned, and much more. “Many hands make lite work.” We will need hand tools, drills, pruners for dead tree limbs, and YOU… Please come out and fellowship and lets get as much done as possible. Lunch will be served for free. All work will be done by 12 or 1.

This Sunday, we are back to regular schedule. 

9:15am – Prayer Service

10:00am – Sunday School

11:00am – Worship – Children’s Sunday 

6:00pm – Student and Children Ministries

6:15pm – Adult Ministries

Notice that at 11am – Our Children will be leading us in worship and singing their VBS songs. We will have a special Children’s moment, as well as interviewing them as to how they enjoyed VBS. And of course we will have the Word expounded.

Please come support our Children and their desire to grow in the Lord. Please invite a neighbor or coworker to come experience all that Jesus is doing in the lives of our children as well as ourselves.

The Ignite Church 

Hello Ignite Church,

We hope you have had a great week. We want to remind you of a few items that are coming up.

This Sunday night is Family Night. Bring a dish to share at 5:30pm. We will start the movie at 6 to 6:15pm. Its a great movie for the whole family.

We have suspended meals on Wednesday nights for a while to breathe and to plan. Bible studies will still start at 6:30pm.

This Wednesday Night, May 3rd, we will have with us, Daniel Rojas, our missionary form Costa Rica and Argentina as well as Dr. Larry Henderson. Service will start at 6:30pm. Please come out and support our missionaries. – We will not have a meal this Wednesday night.

Student Summer Camp – July 31st – August 4th – Please sign your student up for Summer Camp so we can get a number of how many are going. Cost is $125 for the week. This includes all food, cabin, and study material. It is a week that will change them forever. A deposit is due of $50.

There will be a VBS meeting following the May 7th, 11am worship service. See Jana for details if you would like to volunteer to help in VBS 2017. Going to be an awesome time…

Men’s meeting on Saturday, May 13th at 7:30am – Going to talk about being a man of Discipline. And all the women said, Amen…

There will be a young girls “Tea Party” held on June 13th at the Church. More details to follow. This is for grades 1 – 6.

The 2017 Pastor’s Class starts on June 20th @ 9am. We will feed the students lunch each week. The class is over at 12pm. We have many exciting trips planed. They do not want to miss the class. 

VBS starts on Sunday, July 16 and runs through July 19. We need many volunteers to help make this year another success. Meeting for volunteers is on May 7th. See Above.

Baby bottles are due this Sunday @ 11am. Please return them even if you can not put your change in them. The Pregnancy center needs them back for more fund raisers.

This Saturday is for Men and Women ministries. The men will met at 7:30am at Ignite Park to put in the water system, mow the church property and pick up some picnic tables in Rosewood. We will need pickup trucks, trailers, mowers, and weed-eaters. The Women are headed to Branch Chapel Church for a simulcast with Priscilla Shirer.

Please keep you eye on weekly bulletin each Sunday and the Information board in the hallway.

FYI…

Baptism Sunday is tomorrow at 11am. If you are being baptized, please be in Pastor Gary’s office at 10:30am for final instructions. If you did not sign up but are now able to be baptized, please come at 10:30am for a quick meeting. Please bring a pair of pants or shorts to get wet. We have a t-shirt that you will wear as a token of this great event. Also, bring a towel. Sorry, no rubber ducks… lol

Sunday schedule has not changed. We will hold our Sunday night study at 6pm for children and 6:15pm for adults. No compromising here. Going to learn, love and live Word of God.

Time to worship Jesus

Well hello Ignite Church… 

What a wonderful time the men had on the annual Men’s Prayer Advance in Roanoke Virginia.  We learned the Word of God and hearts were changed. We are becoming better leaders at Ignite and better husbands and dads at home. Please continue to pray for us as we SEEK the Lord Jesus with all our heart.

MEN’S SUNDAY

What a Sunday it’s going to be this Sunday, January 29th. We will have Men’s Sunday at the 11am service. Please make plans to attend. You will hear from the men and be encouraged and uplifted as the Lord has certainly worked on us.

FAMILY NIGHT

Also… This Sunday night, January 29th at 5:30pm, we will have our monthly “Family Night.” Please come out and bring your favorite meal to share and lets fellowship together as a family. The Church will provide all the drinks.

CONTENDERS AND KEEPERS

Also… This Sunday night at 6:30pm, as part of the “Family Night,” we will hold our first student “Contenders & Keepers” award ceremony. Please plan on attending this important program and support our students as they seek God.

BAPTISM SUNDAY

On February 5th, we will have our first Baptism Service at the 11am service. Please be sure to come support all that are being baptized and encourage them as they step up to say, “No Turning Back” as they commit to follow Jesus. If you are interested in being baptized, please sign up at the sign up table or see Pastor Gary or Fran.

BAPTISM MEETING

Also, there is a Baptism meeting this Sunday, January 29th after the 11am service.

BUSINESS MEETING

All partners are encouraged to see Fran for a copy of the 2017 budget. See Pastor Gary or Fran with any questions. We will vote to approve this budget on Sunday February 5th after the 11am service.

VALENTINE’S BANQUET

We will have our annual Valentine’s Banquet “A Marriage 2 Die For” on February 11th. Seating is limited to 45 couples. You can sign up @ www. MyIgnite.org and click on events or sign up at the sign up table. Cost is $25 per couple. This includes a catered meal.

Pray for God to stir your heart this Sunday. We are praying for a powerful moving of the Holy Spirt as the Men share their hearts and our students get rewarded for all their hard work.
