Hello Ignite Church,

We have some exciting reminders for the upcoming couple of weeks and months.

Tomorrow, Saturday, January 14, is the Men’s Fellowship at 7:30am for breakfast and a devotion at the Church. Please come and support the men’s ministry.

Also, tomorrow, Saturday, January 14, is the Women’s fellowship at 10am at the Church. Please bring a pair of cloth cutting scissors for the activity. Also, bring your favorite brunch dish to share.

This Sunday night, January 15, all children in Contenders and Keepers need to bring in their books and completed activities for the merit awards.

We will kick off our Partnership class this Sunday, January 15 at 5pm. If you would like more information about Ignite Church, or if you would like to join the partnership here at Ignite, you are required to attend this class.

The Men’s Retreat is happening in just a few weeks. We will leave on Thursday, January 26 and return on Saturday, January 28. The Men’s will also lead in the Church service Sunday, January 29th. Please sign up ASAP if you are interested.

Ignite Family night is happening on January 29th at 5:30pm. Please bring a meal to share. We will also have a special service at 6:30pm for our children’s ministry. This is an award ceremony for all their hard work for the last quarter.

We will have a Baptismal Service on Sunday, February 5th at the 11am service. If interested, please see pastor Gary for details. You are required to attend the Baptismal meeting on Sunday, January 29th following Sunday worship.

We will hold our annual Marriage banquet, “A Marriage 2 die for” on Saturday, February 11, 5pm to 8pm. The cost is $25 per couple. This includes a catered meal, materials, and door prizes. Seating is limited. If interested, please sign up online @ www.ignitechurchnc.org

Our Student Summer Camp is happening from July 31st – August 4th at Hanging Rock. Get your students involved. More info to come soon.

The Church Mission Trip to New Mexico is happening August 19th – 26th. Please come out on Wednesday, January 25th, to hear Dr. Larry Henderson tell us what we will be doing. Cost is $1000 per person. That includes airfare, room, and food.

Also, see Fran this Sunday morning for your year end contribution record to the Church.

This is going to be a great week…

This Wednesday Night, come out for dinner at 5:30pm to 6:15pm. Then at 6:30pm we will do some caroling from a tractor / trailer ride through the park behind us as we share the love of Jesus.

The New Study Bible’s for the Children and Student Program have arrived. The total cost of each Study Bible is $21. See Fran to get one in time for a Christmas present. This is an EXCELLENT buy. Get one before they are gone.

Sunday is going to be special. Our first “Annual Christmas Play” will be December 18th at 5pm. Come help us celebrate the Birth of Jesus, and celebrate with your Church family the beautiful gift of fellowship as we sing, watch our children act out Luke 2, see some REAL animals, and participate in a Birthday Party for Jesus. Please bring finger food to share. We will also have a “Chest of Jesus” for you to make a special donation to the Church Van Fund as a gift to Jesus.

NEWS…

We will have a special night, Wednesday, December 14, at 6:30pm. We will gather at the Church, load up on some trailers pulled by tractors / trucks, and head over to sing some carols in the park behind the Church. We will also give out goody bags to all the residents and invite them to our Church. Please join us as we “Get to Know our Jerusalem.”

Happy Thanksgiving…

We hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for and we will continue with our Thanksgiving tomorrow at Church.

Join us at 9:15 for Prayer, 10:00am for Sunday School, 11:00am for Worship, and then Sunday Night at 6:00pm, we will have a Special Thanksgiving Celebration with testimonies and ending in a special time for Communion.

ALSO, If you would like to learn more about Ignite Church, we will have another class starting in January. It will began on January 8th at 5pm. Sign up online at www.myignite.org under events.

Women’s Bible Study starts back this Wednesday at 10:00am at the Church. Please take some time off and come join the ladies…

We now have a wonderful class to help in dealing with the loss of a loved one. See Fran Riddle to sign up for “GriefShare.”

Don’t forget, we have started what we consider the best Children’s ministry program across the nation. It is called Keepers of the Faith (Girls)  / Contenders for the Faith (Boys) for grades 1 through 12 on Sunday nights at 6pm. Please don’t let your child miss this great opportunity. See Jana Branscome to discuss the Girls and Greg Jenkins to discuss the boys.

This Wednesday night we will have a meal and then study the Word of God. Sign up for the meal by Sunday Night so we can have a count of how many meals to prepare. We will serve dinner from 5:30pm to 6:15pm. All programs will start at 6:30pm.

Tomorrow, Saturday, November 19th, our women will be wrapping gifts for the JCC Craft fair at the Johnston Community College form 9am til 2pm. Come join them and invite someone to Ignite Church.

This Sunday at 11am, if you have finished the New Partner Class, you will be invited to come and join in the partnership at the Church.

PLEASE DON’T FORGET… The Wallace Baby Shower on Sunday @4pm – It’s a Girl…

ALSO, this Sunday night at 5pm, we will have our Special Service called “Hanging of the Greens.” We will eat a meal together at 5pm, Turkey is furnished but bring a side dish to share. At 6pm, we will sing and give thanks to the Lord and then have a powerful testimony of thanksgiving from one of our very own. Then at 6:30pm, we will decorate our beautiful facility for the Christmas season. Come join all the fun.

We will have NO PM on Wednesday, November 23rd.

Office will be closed on November 24th and 25th for Thanksgiving.

Regular services on Sunday, November 27th with the exception of a special Thanksgiving and communion service at 6pm.

Wow. God has blessed us so much in one short year. Have you seen the new building? Have you seen the new counter top? Have you seen the Children’s program? Have you seen the student program? Have you seen the spiritual growth in the people of Ignite? We are overwhelmed to see what the Lord is doing and hope you are as well. Countless stories of the kiddo’s desiring to come to Church and even read their Bibles at home. God has been so good to us…

Well, it is just beginning. Check these new things out…

WE ARE CAMPING THIS FRIDAY NIGHT. Come join us even if you do not camp. We will have a big fire and some wonderful fellowship. Starts at 3pm on Friday but come when you can. We will be done by 12pm Saturday but leave when you want. Bring everything that you will need. Tent, sleeping bag, food, water… you will need to supply everything your family may need.

This Wednesday Night, we start our meal program. You do not have to rush to eat and then rush to get to Church. Just come on after work and we will have a nice meal prepared for you and then you can partake of the Word of God and get your spiritual food as well.

How about GriefShare? Are you struggling with the loss of a loved one? You want to be involved in this class!

Have you completed the New Partner Class? If so, we are delighted that you want to become a partner with Ignite Church. We will hold this special day on November 20th at 11am.

And yes, We know it is early, but we are so excited for Christmas that we just have to decorate our new, absolutely beautiful, Sanctuary. Come join us for a meal and some fun. You do not want to miss this fellowship…

We need help in the Toddler room for Sunday AM, PM and Wednesday PM. Please see Fran if you can help and pour yourself into these little one’s.

Also, parents, PLEASE drop your children under 12 off at the Children’s Center and then pick them up after class. This is for safety and security as well as being able to get all your information that is happening with the Children’s Ministry.

It’s time to worship. Hope to see you tomorrow for some celebration and praise as we hear our children sing and worship Jesus. It was an awesome week and the children had a wonderful time in VBS. Come hear all about it tomorrow at the 11am Worship Service.

We will continue with the “War Room” study, part 2, tomorrow night, Sunday Night @ 6:30pm.

Come support the Children tomorrow as we see their excitement and zeal for Jesus. What an awesome week. We averaged 34 children and around 68 people all together. So thankful for all the leaders and their love for Jesus and the children. Had 5+ children to give their hearts to Jesus. Can you say, Hallelujah to the Lamb of God.

We will be holding our first Baptism as soon as we get in the new building which should be in just a few weeks. We have about twelve people to be baptized. Thanks for being an awesome Church. See you tomorrow…

Ignite Church

Can you say EXCITEMENT?

Starting this Sunday Night is our very first Vacation Bible School. It will start Sunday night at 6pm until 8:45pm. We will have a meal each night for the children and workers. It will run Sunday through Thursday night. Pray that God would work mightily in the hearts of the children and the workers.

TOMORROW.

I know it’s Saturday but we could use your fellowship and help. We will meet at the Church at 9am to clean the new building (bathrooms, sinks and windows – possibly Kitchen cabinets) and then set up for VBS starting this Sunday Night. Cleaning will only take 1 hour if you can help. Setting up will not take long as well but it sure would be fun to see ya and have a little fellowship.

ALSO

Sunday is packed slam full of JESUS. Invite someone to come worship Jesus with us. We will have the new building open for you to take them down after the Worship service and show them what God is doing at your Church. Can you feel the EXCITEMENT in the air. That must be a rush of the Holy Spirit of God getting us ready for Revival.

We hope you are having a wonderful week. We are looking forward to the weekend where we have some really exciting things going on.

PLEASE don’t forget “Ignite Family Night” this Sunday night @ 6PM. Bring your favorite dish of American Cuisine” to share. We will have our first visit from a missionary, Daniel Rojas from Costa Rica. He is joining us for dinner and will give us a message about how God is using him in Costa Rica. I am asking for GREAT support from Ignite Church. We are going to be a heavily MISSION MINDED Church so make every effort to come out Sunday night.
